BIDCorp Board reviews applications for Director’s post
The Brownfield Industrial Development Corporation (BIDCorp) Board of Directors met in closed session Monday to discuss applications they have received for the BIDCorp Director’s job.
The board is looking to find a replacement for current Director Jack Cargill, who announced his retirement last month effective Dec. 31.
As of Monday the group had received 16 applications for the job. Cargill said there were several qualified applicants among the resumes received. He added that the applicants were from across the state, while one applicant sent in a resume from Alaska.
The group did not eliminate any applicants from consideration during Monday’s meeting. They are scheduled to meet again Dec. 5 to continue the process of choosing their new Director.
