Jose Garcia, BHS junior, has big aspirations this year. Last year he came in tenth in State Powerlifting and this year he wants to place in the top three.  Determination and a little encouragement on the side are what he believes will get him there. Even in his free time Jose loves to lift weights.

Jose is the son of Ramon and Maria Tevino. He has a sister, Rosalinda Garcia. When Jose graduates, he hopes to attend the University of Miami and be in the law honors program. Find out more about Jose in his interview on Cub Sports Radio.
