Cade Powell is the son of Rusty and Jennifer Powell. He is a junior at Brownfield High School. Cade loves just about any kind of sport there is, and in addition to participating in most of them, is also in Student Council, National Honor Society and Spirit of the Plains Band. He is also on the yearbook staff.

Cade realizes his position as a role model for younger students and accepts that role willingly. He seems to credit his attitude to the influence of his family, especially his father whom he greatly admires.
